BRITISH FAMILIES ARE CHANGING

UNSUAL JOBS AT WOOKIE HOLE

Summer is coming and sometimes teenagers look for summer jobs to get some extra money, experience, travelling opportunities, etc. Here is an unusual job.

 Wookie Hole Caves is a British attraction near Bath and Bristol. People can go there to spend an exciting day in more than 20 fantastic attractions ranging from rides, gardens, shows, etc.

INCREMENTO DE LINEAS BILINGUES EN 1º ESO, CURSO 2016-17

Buenas noticias. Ya es oficial el incremento de las líneas bilingües de 1º ESO hasta las 4 que tiene nuestro IES para el curso 2016-17. Se trata de una petición que llevamos haciendo desde el curso pasado y finalmente nos ha sido aprobada por parte de las autoridades educativas.
La noticia viene en un momento decisivo pues se están llevando a cabo las distintas reuniones informativas que se contemplan en el programa de tránsito con el alumnado de nuestros CEIPS adscritos (Tierno Galván de Corrales y El Puntal de Bellavista).

Hace pocos días que nuestros amigos alemanes se marcharon y hemos pedido a las familias de acogida españolas que evalúen la experiencia para proponer mejoras, cambios, etc. Aquí están los resultados...

BECAS ESTANCIAS DE VERANO EN INGLATERRA

Se acerca el verano y varias empresas empiezan a promocionar sus cursos de verano de idiomas en el extranjero.
Este es el caso de Colegios Viajeros de Denatravel. Esta agencia ofrece 3 becas para los mejores alumnos y alumnas de ESO de España.
Quienes estén interesados, deben contactar con el Coordinador Bilingüe del centro (José A. Alcalde) para recibir la solicitud pues cada centro sólo puede "recomendar" a un máximo de 20 alumnos.

Date prisa, el plazo de solicitud on-line acaba el 15 de junio.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WIKIPEDIA!!

Maybe it is not perfect. Maybe there are some mistakes. Maybe it will be better in the future. However, we can't deny that Wikipedia has been a revolution in many areas of life around the planet. Recently we have celebrated its 15th anniversary and we have displayed some information about it in our Torre de bpabpel.

SCHOOL EXCHANGE 2016

Here is the Second Edition of our School Exchange with Gymnasium Gerabronn (Germany). We are hosting 23 boys and girls accompanied by their two teachers (Max and Franziska).
 They will stay with us from Thursday 5th until Saturday 14th May and they will visit places like Aracena, Seville, La Rábida, Moguer, Punta Umbría, Huelva city...
Then it will be our turn. The Spanish group (19 students and two teachers) will visit Germany from June 21st until 30th and we will go to Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Dachau, Tübingen, Rotteborg ab der Tauber, etc.
