School Day of Non-violence and Peace

January 30th is a very important day for schools around the world. Our world is becoming more and more violent and it is necessary to stop and think about it.

 We want to celebrate it with a huge Peace symbol in our main window made with messages written and drawn by our ESO Year 1 students.
The sign is "PEACE is..." and everybody has to complete it with a word, sentece or idea.

WELCOME 2019!!

Our Bachillerato Year 1 students in the "English in Action" elective subject have prepared an outstanding board to welcome 2019.

They have been searching the web to see what is going to happen this year, month by month, at international, national and regional level.

We have plenty of events regarding history, economics, traditions, politics, culture, sport and so on.

BLUE MONDAY

The third Monday of January is commonly known as "Blue Monday". People say that it is the saddest day of the year but why? Apparently, there is a formula to find out it. Watch the short video below to know more about it...

HELLO AMERICANS!!

In about two months our North American friends from Indianapolis will be here. We are so excited!!

 25 students and 3 teachers will come from March 17th until 28th.

These days we are planning their stay among us and different activities are being considered (culture, sport, history, gastronomy, environment and so on).

BECAS EUROPA

Esta beca es una iniciativa única promovida por el Banco Santander y la Universidad Francisco de Vitoria para potenciar el talento, premiar la excelencia y apoyar la creación de redes de liderazgo.

El programa tiene como objetivo viajar a lo más profundo de la historia, esencia e ideales de la universidad, que nació en Europa, para despertar en sus futuros alumnos la actitud del verdadero universitario. Construir una red de universitarios líderes en Europa dispuestos a sacar lo mejor de la institución universitaria y reflejarlo en la sociedad.

“Nuestro objetivo: premiar y potenciar el talento de los mejores alumnos preuniversitarios de España.”

Para ello, Becas Europa selecciona a los 50 mejores alumnos preuniversitarios para compartir con ellos la experiencia de un viaje de 20 días alrededor de Europa, visitando las principales universidades y participando en un programa de conferencias, encuentros con personalidades de primer nivel del mundo académico, político y cultural y participando en actividades culturales y de ocio.

El Programa Becas Europa se celebra en diferentes sedes: Alcalá de Henares, Salamanca, Santiago de Compostela, Bolonia, Roma, Londres, Oxford, Cambridge, Bruselas, Paris, Heidelberg y Madrid.
