Hey! My name is Jiselle Torres and I recently graduated from University of California, Santa Cruz. My major and focus was biology during my undergraduate studies and it continues to be what I am interested in! I was fortunate enough to study in Madrid, Spain in 2015 for 4 months, which is why I fell in love with the Spanish culture and I am now super fortunate to be able to come back as a language assistant.
I am someone who enjoys constantly being surrounded by peers and meeting new people. My family and friends back at home consider me to be a caring and respectful individual, who they can turn to at any given moment if a problem arises. I am also perceived as a problem solver who does not walk away from an unsolved task. If I'm not problem solving, you can probably find me outdoors, either kicking a soccer ball or playing around with my four younger siblings.
