I don’t know too much about the Easter celebrations over
here in Spain apart from the processions for La Semana Santa and “los penitentes” that wear the big pointed hat on their heads. Anyway, the celebrations back home in the UK are very different to those
here. There aren’t really any big parties or festivals for Easter and we
definitely don’t have anything similar to los penitentes. Easter in the UK mainly
involves chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate! Back home we have a tradition
of giving people chocolate Easter eggs on Easter Sunday and the next few days
are spent eating as much chocolate as possible without being sick. My personal favourites are the Malteser eggs!!
It is said that there is an Easter Bunny who brings chocolate eggs to children, much like Santa bringing presents to people at Christmas. Often, he will hide the eggs around the house or in the garden which then leads to Easter Egg hunts which is an excellent game (or eggs-cellent if you want a really bad Easter joke!) to keep the kids busy on Easter Sunday.
Here's a fun video of a genuine sighting of the Easter Bunny!!
This site offers more information about the origins of many Easter traditions and there is a good video if you want to learn more! It focuses more on Easter in America but the traditions are almost identical to ours.

And here you can see many photos of beautifully decorated eggs. Mine unfortunately never look this good!
