2018 EUROPEAN YEAR OF...

It is usual that the United Nations declares every year as the International Year of... However, 2018 is an exception and it has not been declared anything special.

Nonetheless, the European Union has declared 2018 the European Year of Cultural Heritage. Here is a short video presenting this project.
